The Southern California branch of the American Society for Microbiology is having its annual meeting October 22-24, 2009 at the Hilton Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. At the meeting, undergrads and graduate students have the opportunity to present a poster highlighting their work. Moreover, there are 3 educational grants offering up to $1800 each to cover expenses associated with attending the national 2010 ASM meeting. SCASM would like to extend an invitation to your students to participate in the competition. I have attached a flyer with details concerning the poster presentations.
