MARY POPPINS LANDS IN LOS ANGELES!
“It’s a lavish stage version that’s a wonder to behold, yet at its heart, Mary Poppins is a family drama. That this human and humane story shines through the dazzling special effects demonstrates the potency of its emotional impact.”
- Mike Kuchwara, Associated Press
Dream Girls – The Broadway musical.
CATCH THE DREAM!
Full of onstage joy and backstage drama, DREAMGIRLS tells the rags-to-riches story of an up and coming, 1960s girl group, and the triumphs and tribulations that come with fame and fortune.
Martin Sheen, Frances Conroy and Brian Geraghty to star in The Subject Was Roses.
Martin Sheen will return to the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play that brought him a Tony Award nomination in 1964, and join with Frances Conroy and Brian Geraghty in “The Subject Was Roses” by Frank D. Gilroy. The Subject Was Roses replaces the previously announced Speed-the-Plow.
“Set in 1946 following World War II, this is a timeless, important play with characters so rich and believable that your heart goes out to them, wishing they could break out of old family patterns. These are people we can all identify with. It makes for compelling theatre.”
The 39 Steps
"ESCAPIST FUN!
The popular theatrical version of Alfred Hitchcock's masterful film ... proves that anything movies can do, theater can do more hilariously. ... the show whizzes by to the audience's audible delight."
- Charles McNulty, Los Angeles Times
“Once this fun ride leaves the station, you don’t want to get off!”
- New York Daily News
“GROUNDBREAKING… I’m tempted to call it the most original drama written so far about the Iraq war, but why sell the work short?
The imagination behind it is way too thrillingly genre-busting to be confined within such a limiting category.”
- Charles McNulty, Los Angeles Times
Into the Woods- TheTony Award winning Stephen Sondheim Musical!
Fifth of July a play by American playwright Lanford Wilson. Set in rural Missouri in 1977, it revolves around the Talley family and their friends, and focuses on the disillusionment with America in the wake of the Vietnam War.
