Deadline Extended: Global East Asia Korea Program-- ALL TRAVELEXPENSES PAID!

The East Asian Studies Center has extended the deadline for the Global East Asia Korea program. Please forward this announcement to your students. Thank you!
********************************************************

Dear USC students,

The East Asian Studies Center has extended the deadline for the Global East Asia Korea Program and will be accepting applications on a rolling basis until all the spots are filled. The program offers you an excellent opportunity to visit Korea at a minimum cost as students accepted into the program will have all major travel-related expenses paid for, including roundtrip international airfare from LAX, basic lodging and meals, and local transportation and entrance fees related to the course while abroad. Note that the 4 units of USC tuition and associated fees will not be covered by the program.

The Korea program will be taught by Professor Sunyoung Park of the East Asian Languages and Cultures department and under the syllabus theme of "Imagining Seoul: A Global Metropolis through Korean Literature and Film," students will visit various sites in Seoul, Pusan, and the DMZ and stay on the campus of Ewha University, which is located at a center of youth culture in Seoul.

The program application and additional information can be found on the EASC website.

Please feel free to forward this announcement to others who might be interested.

You contact us with any questions at easc@college.usc.edu or stop by our offices at the College House (CLH 101).

Best regards,

Stacy Orozco
