First, we had a very good talk from Dr. McKemy last week; he taught us a little bit about what causes us to feel hot and cold ‑ it was cool!!
Second, did you know that the federal government has set a goal for every American to have an electronic health record by 2014? For our next event, we would like to invite you all to listen to a panel of experts discuss the technical, societal, and ethical dimensions of having patients' medical records online. Below is some more information:
Date: Saturday, February 20th
Location: California Science Center
Time: 1:00 pm ‑ 2:40 pm (we plan to meet on campus at 12:30 and walk over together ‑ it's just across the way)
