Do you think you know how to get into medical school? How would you respond to the question, “Why do you want to be a doctor?” How about a PA? A pharmacist? A physical therapist? A medical administrator? If you find yourself hard‑pressed for an answer, we have just the right people to connect you with!
The Pre‑Med Honor Society (AED) presents the 44th Annual Southland Pre‑Health Conference: an event aimed at getting you in touch with the people who know the answers to these questions…
From 9:15am – 3:30pm (or anytime in between) on Sunday, February 21st, 2010, come to the Davidson Conference Center on the USC campus (right across from the Galen Center) to interact with 13 important leaders from all realms of the health professions, in addition to a medical student panel run by former USC undergraduate students who have been in your shoes.
We are extremely privileged to have Dr. Jonathan Samet, USC’s Director of the Institute for Global Health as this year’s keynote speaker.
And the best part about this conference is…it’s all completely FREE! What’s more, there will be FREE BREAKFAST and LUNCH provided by USC Hospitality and other outside vendors.
Wait, there’s more free stuff?! Princeton Review Test Prep will be raffling off 2 free half‑scholarships for MCAT prep courses (that’s two prizes of $1000 value!).
Attire is business casual. This is a professional event; we want you looking sharp!
