USC’S RESPONSE TO THE TRAGEDY IN HAITI

All USC faculty, staff and students are invited to attend “USC’s Response to the Tragedy in Haiti.”

Henri Ford, M.D., vice dean of medical education for the Keck School of Medicine of USC and a native of Haiti
Ramon Cestero, M.D., trauma surgeon at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center

Moderator: Dean Carmen A. Puliafito, M.D., M.B.A.

Learn about the USC/LA County Haiti Medical Aid Team’s surgical and medical work
over a two-week period following the devastating earthquake.

A discussion about what the USC community can do to help with efforts to restore and rebuild Haiti and
meet long-term medical and infrastructure needs in that country follows the presentations.

Attendees will have opportunities to donate to relief efforts in Haiti following the program. A reception also follows.

The event is sponsored by the Keck School of Medicine of USC and the USC Institute for Global Health.
