I'm graduating in June, and for a while I wasn't sure what to do next year.
But I recently accepted a full-time job with U.S. PIRG, working to solve the problems our country faces.
I want to help break our overdependence on oil and support more clean, renewable energy and public transit. I want to stand up to the banks that got us into this financial crisis and protect consumers and taxpayers.
As an organizer I will get to work on these issues and more. I'll be working to get real and immediate results by advocating for policy change, and because U.S. PIRG is non-partisan the work will be about the issues, not party politics. I couldn't be more excited.
As you think about what to do when you graduate, join me and consider a job with U.S. PIRG.

I want this job because these issues matter. U.S. PIRG is a national federation of state-based groups - including CALPIRG - with a 35 year track record of organizing on issues and getting results. Not only will I be able to look back and know I was part of solving some huge problems in society but also that I was able to get a lot more people involved and passionate about the issues as well. I can't do it alone, and the more people we have fighting, the better.
For more information and to apply check out U.S. PIRG's website: http://uspirg.org/jobs - or send them an email at: jobs@uspirg.org
Sincerely,
Sarah Dobjensky
