South Asian Studies Association conference - 4/10-11

On April 10‑11, we will be hosting the annual South Asian Studies Association conference at USC's Davidson Conference Center. We anticipate over 100 scholars from around the world presenting on 30 different panels focusing on diverse topics such as history, security, sexuality, entrepreneurship, the diaspora, and cultural production. The conference will also feature keynote speakers, an awards banquet, film screenings, and a discussion with senior policy experts from the Department of State.  I am particularly pleased to note that a number of scholars are coming from India and Pakistan ‑‑ making USC a meeting ground for a dialogue that could not take place in their home countries.

Attached is the flier for the conference and here is the link to the program:

Interested faculty, students, and staff can attend all of the panels for free with a USC ID.
