My name is Maya Mueller, and I am the Culture Night Chair for USC Nikkei this year. On behalf of USC Nikkei, I am proud to announce that our Third Annual Culture Show is happening next Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 7 PM at Bovard Auditorium. My cast and crew have been working tirelessly for the past year on this production, and we are so excited to finally showcase our hard work! We encourage you to come out and share this experience with us. Please forward the message below to all of your members and encourage them to come and support USC Nikkei!
We will have a special section in the audience for APASA organization members. Please RSVP by emailing a headcount of everybody who would like to attend in your organization to mayamuel@usc.edu. Please let us know by Wednesday, April 8, so that we can get a good idea of how many seats to set aside for APASA. On April 10, let the Nikkei officers at the check-in desk know that you are part of APASA, and you will be escorted to your seats!
Also, congratulations to all the APASA organizations that have already had their Culture Shows, and good luck to Troy Phi this weekend!
Hope to see you all on April 10 :)

The USC Nikkei Association Proudly Presents its 3rd Annual Culture Show
Agent 90 and Agent 66 in "The Movement"
After inadvertently becoming a secret agent, Danny Matsuno embarks on his first mission with Shar Kawakami. They must find a suspected FBI mole in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo before he/she crushes the Asian American political uprising known as The Movement. Furthermore, Danny and Shar must interrogate the mole and uncover the government’s motives for wanting to shut down their organization.
As the agents infiltrate the 1960/70’s Yellow Power Movement, they are exposed to a community united in culture and the passion to forge an Asian American identity. Danny and Shar quickly realize that their mission is much more personal than they could have ever anticipated.
Along with the skit, this years Culture Show will also include performances by USC SoTrad Traditional Dance, USC Nikkei KBD Hip Hop, and USC Kazan Taiko, USC's only Japanese drumming group.
USC Nikkei's 3rd Annual Culture Show is sure to be even better than last years so come and watch our show and performances on April 10, 2010.
