EcoMedia is the newest addition to the CBS portfolio and provides CBS Corporation with a green point-of-difference for advertisers on our TV, radio, interactive, publishing and outdoor platforms. The groundbreaking leader in environmental media, EcoMedia created a way for corporate clients to make tangible improvements to the environment while more effectively connecting with their consumers and the communities they live in. EcoMedia’s unique business model gives advertisers a "sustainable media" ad buy that delivers an added value beyond traditional advertising. Each EcoMedia ad devotes a portion of the marketer’s buy to fund local environmental projects and technologies - like solar installations and energy efficiency retrofits - in communities all across the United States.
