Two Clinical Research Associate positions (1 full-time, 1 part-time)
Location: City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, CA (15 minutes east of Pasadena)
Position Description
Dr. Sunita Patel, Ph.D. is interested in hiring two new research assistants to work in the Division of Behavioral Sciences in the Department of Population Sciences at the City of Hope National Medical Center. City of Hope is a nationally recognized cancer treatment and research hospital located in Duarte, CA.
Dr. Patel’s current research focuses on the cognitive functioning of post-menopausal women before and after treatment for breast cancer. Responsibilities would include conducting neuropsychological assessments, scoring these assessments, identification and tracking of eligible subjects, literature reviews, data collection and entry, database management, and coordination of review board submissions.
Applicants will gain valuable experience conducting neuropsychological measures, collaborating as a team, and working in direct contact with study participants, while benefiting from the strong possibility of both conference and journal publications. While a neuropsychology background is not required, the successful applicant must be organized, motivated, and possess good communication skills.
Desired 2 year commitment.
