USC Premedical Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association, or USC Premed APAMSA, is a pre-medical student organization at USC that strives to address health issues that are more prevalent among Asian Pacific Americans. We also provide students with hands-on, first-hand experience in and exposure to medical-related careers in order to help further their interest in medicine or help them decide whether medicine is for them.
Example of past events have been:
- Medical Student "Shadowing"
- Volunteering and mentoring programs at local hospitals and schools and other community outreach events
- Attendance to health conferences
- Ethics discussions
- Medical admissions tips and information sessions
