Special Biology Major - Study Abroad info session

Have you considered working on your major while on an overseas program? You can receive USC credit as well as credit toward your BISC major. Next week is Study Abroad Week and there is a special session on studying science abroad:

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR BISC, HP, AND KNSL MAJORS, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st, FROM 12-1 pm, in HEDCO Neurosciences Building, Room107.
Enjoy lunch and learn about the various opportunities for BISC majors to travel the world for a semester. Representatives from the Office of Overseas Studies will be there to discuss these programs, and I will be there to answer your questions about receiving major credit while abroad. Below is also a list of all the Study Abroad Week events.

Monday, August 31, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Trousdale Parkway Visit our kick-off
booth for snacks, a Study Abroad Week schedule, and a list of the best
programs for your major.

Tuesday, September 1, 12-1 p.m., Hedco Neurosciences Building, Room 107
Biological Sciences, Health Promotion and Kinesiology: Join us for a
major-specific lecture and luncheon to hear about opportunities to study
abroad in your major field. (Biochemistry, Health & Humanity majors, and
Pre-Health track students also welcome.)

Tuesday, September 1, 1-2 p.m., Hedco Neurosciences Building, Room 107
Psychology and Neuroscience: luncheon and info session for PSYC/NEUR majors.

Don't miss the cornerstone of study abroad week: the Study Abroad Fair.
Program alumni and representatives will be present to answer questions on
any of our 53 programs, as will advisers for other USC international
opportunities such as summer programs and offerings by the professional
schools.

session for ECON, IR & POSC majors..

Looking for something really unique and different?? Interested in
scholarships for study abroad? Come to this session. "Off the Beaten Path:
Exotic Locales and Special Funding." Thursday, September 3, 1-2 p.m., Hedco
Neurosciences Building, Room 107

ART SHOW! Thursday, September 3, 4-5 p.m., Religious Center, Room 103 The
"Study the World" Photo Exhibit and Reception is open to all. The fun social
event showcases 30 of the top photos submitted for a special exhibit and
contest for humanities majors. Come to the reception for the refreshments
and art, vote for your favorites, and stay to see if your picks will win the
grand prize.

OPEN HOUSE! Friday, September 4, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., College House Not sure how
to begin? Come by our open house to get a hand with the application process.
