Student Volunteers Needed

Student Volunteers Needed
The USC Community Health Involvement Project (CHIP) will hold its first annual community health fair on March 27, 2010, on McCarthy Quad. During this all-day event, members of the Los Angeles community can attend information sessions and receive free blood pressure, blood glucose and vision screenings.

Student volunteers are needed to check people in, direct them from station to station, and perform a variety of other duties on the day of the event. CHIP would also appreciate donations in other forms from the USC students, faculty and staff: loaned items like tables and tents; monetary donations; entertainment by student organizations or bands; and services such as printing posters. The health fair is a registered Disney's "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" event, so the first 50 students to sign up for a full day of volunteering will receive a one-day entry pass to Disneyland. For more information, visit chip.goqnet.com/health_fair or email uscchip@usc.edu.
