Become a SCaller for the USC Annual Fund!
We are currently seeking student scholars with excellent verbal communication skills to help us meet important fundraising goals for the university. As a SCaller, you will get to speak with many of USC’s most spirited alumni to raise money which helps scholarship programs, financial aid, research initiatives, recruitment of top-notch faculty, and a variety of other initiatives within your school and throughout the university. You will also have the opportunity to begin networking with alumni NOW and maintain the strong connections between the university and alumni, which ultimately keeps the Trojan Family strong.
But the opportunity offers SO MUCH MORE! As a team member you will improve your communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills, all widely regarded as the most marketable skills to future employers. This position also provides opportunities for advancement within the program, providing further opportunities to develop leadership skills and gain management experience, which greatly boost your resume. Several of our team members have excelled up the ranks to become Student Managers and others have gone on to become development professionals after graduation. There really are no limits to what being a SCaller can do for you and YOUR FUTURE.
NOW HIRING FOR THE SPRING 2010 SEMESTER!
Work-study is preferred for this position, but not required. Student callers may work 12-20 hours a week while school is in session (12-40 hours per week during Winter and Summer Breaks). This is a fun, yet professional environment perfectly suited to students looking to advance USC and prepare for their future.
