- Youth for the American Dream is cultivating a new generation of storytellers, artists, thinkers, organizers, entrepreneurs, and community-builders who dream a new American Dream. It is a courageous dream about our responsibility to participate in our institutions, strengthen democracy, build bridges, and urge a transformative investment in ourselves, our cities, and communities. We focus on four key initiatives, our engines of opportunity--housing, public transportation, public education, and jobs and innovation--overcoming inequalities and inefficiencies, highlighting local innovations to inform, and coordinating federal public policy. It is a courageous dream that ensures these investments uplift the Earth, expand the pie, and rebuild the American community that, at its heart, boldly cares for and encourages the dreams of our neighbors. As youth, we believe in a dream that restores, at once,the legacy and the future of America as a global innovator and peace maker for our cities and communities toward the new millennium.
