Speed Reading Workshop

Iris Reading is holding a speed reading workshop with the help of "Graduate and Professional Student Senate" as the sponsoring organization.

Choosing Your Major Seminar

USC College Advising invites all undecided, undeclared students and students looking to add a second major to attend a Choosing your Major Seminar.

Choosing a major is a personal and intimate experience.  It is a decision that helps address the question, "Why go to college?"  It also addresses the question, "What do you plan to do with your college education?"  The Choosing Your Major seminars are designed to help students navigate the decision-making process of choosing a major and provide useful resources for students.  Professionally trained advisors from the Office of College Advising are ready to help.

Osteoporosis Training

Monday, September 27. 5:00-7:00pm – PSC 112

Learn osteoporosis risk factors, patient consultation pointers, and background on this more and more prevalent disease state. Also, learn how to join and be part of the osteoporosis committee and participate in the various pharmacy school health fairs.

Beyond Books Research Banquet
Discuss research topics, scholarships, and programs with different USC professors from an array of disciplines. Join us in exploring beyond books over a free catered dinner by Town & Gown! Please come in business casual attire. You MUST RSVP to uscACA@usc.edu. Please send us an email with your name (only you, please!) and your preferred research field, and we will try our best to accommodate you! Research fields include: Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Comparative Literature, History, Political Science, Marketing, and many more!  The event is October 18, 7pm-9pm at Town and Gown.

USC Entrepreneur Club
The USC Entrepreneur Club is the bridge to all majors and disciplines. An entrepreneur can come from any industry and any age, therefore we welcome any innovative minds to come join us at our several networking events, workshops, and speaker events. We invite founders and CEOs of familiar companies such the founders of Quiksilver, Vizio LCD TVs, and Reeboks to name a few. Our workshops can be fitting for both personal and professional life including persuasion, sales, and marketing workshops. One of our main goals is to not only connect our students with each other but also create ties with Alumni from all schools and disciplines as well.
