USC Pre-Pharmacy Society (UPS) is having its 3rd General Meeting this Thursday, October 22nd at SLH 102 from 6-7pm and representatives from APSA (American Pharmacy Student Alliance) will be speaking and answering questions. There's a brief blurb below to give you a feel as to what kind of organization APSA is...
APSA (American Pharmacy Student Alliance) is a unique umbrella organization at the USC School of Pharmacy which encompasses the following subsidiary organizations: California Pharmacists Association (CPhA), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and the International Pharmaceutical Student’s Federation (IPSF). So, what does this mean for you? APSA will be sharing their take on pharmacy’s role in the health care industry right now, share some pharmacy school application secrets (both within California and throughout the states), and will be open to any questions you may have for current pharmacy students. This meeting will be a great opportunity to see what you can get involved in at USC, and how these organizations will contribute to your experience as a pharmacy student and in a career in pharmacy.
