The Lu lab is looking to hire a new work-study student starting from the spring semester. Primary responsibilities include: preparation of agar plates for cultures; preparation of general buffers and solutions; preparation of autoclaved tips and pipettes; ordering of supplies; and general organization of lab supplies and storage areas. Hours are flexible.Our research is on self-renewal and differentiation of neural stem cells and embryonic stem cells. This job provides students with a good opportunity to get a feel for the laboratory environment, and research opportunities exist for those with the desire and time to pursue it.
