I am emailing on behalf of Dr. Janos Peti‑Peterdi at the USC Health Sciences Campus in the division of Physiology and Biophysics. We are looking to recruit one or more motivated undergraduate students in our laboratory. Our team is interested in understanding underlying causes and treatments of kidney disease in mouse and rat models using state‑of‑the‑art technology, multiphoton imaging and various other techniques. The students will directly work on the currently on‑going and perhaps independent projects and learn from fellows from all over the world.
This is a volunteer position at start but future paid opportunities or perhaps fellowships can be discussed with the PI once the student has gained some experience in the lab.
