Starting in January, my lab has an opening for a work-study student.
The job requires a minimum of 10 hours per week (usually 2 blocks of time work best) and entails tagging and tailing mice for genetic experiments, making simple laboratory solutions, and using a microscope for collecting scientific images. Other projects may become available depending on need and interest. We need someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and is comfortable working with animals. The lab is located on the HSC campus in the new Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research. We work on skeletal development, regeneration, and basic stem cell biology.
