Trojan Health Connection, USC's First Pre-Health Newspaper

Trojan Health Connection is USC's first pre-health newspaper, and we are looking to recruit editors, managers, writers, and photographers. We cover all the stories that will be of interest to pre-health students as well as the health news pertinent to the entire USC community. If you are interested in joining our organization or if you are curious to learn more, please attend one of the following informational sessions:

Thursday, January 20 at 5:00 p.m. Location: GFS Lobby
Wednesday, January 26 at 4:30 p.m. Location: GFS Lobby

Food and drink will be provided at both sessions. Prior journalism experience is also not a requirement as we will be offering on the job training.

USC Health Care Business Club AMGEN Networking and Recruiting Event

Wednesday, January 19, 4:00pm – HOH 304

This Wednesday, USC Health Care Business Club will be kicking off the semester with Amgen, the world's largest independent biotechnology company. Not only is Amgen one of the largest employers in California, but it was also named by Business Week as the most "future-oriented" company of all those listed on the S&P 500. Come join us for light refreshments as well as an opportunity to meet with the recruiters from Amgen. There will be a brief presentation about the firm's recruitment opportunities, followed by a networking session. They are looking to hire for their summer internship program, so please bring a resume.

Attire: Business Casual

SC Homelessness Initiative

SC Homelessness Initiative is looking for executive board members and general members

SC Homelessness Initiative (SCHI) is a brand new USC student organization recognized by USG and we are looking for members to join our efforts in raising awareness and fighting against urban poverty and homelessness.

  • Develop curriculum and lead healthy living and life skills workshops at the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC)
  • Increase awareness of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, dental health, skin health, healthy nutrition, HIV/AIDS, STDs, and more among the homeless population
  • Hold on-campus events, speaker series, and film screenings to raise awareness of homelessness in our community
  • Assist homeless women with GED preparation, job search, and literacy promotion

Available executive board positions that you can apply for:

  • Director of Education
  • Service Committee Chair
  • Director of Communications
