FUELS Applications

FUELS -- Female Undergraduates Educating and Leading in Science
The purpose of FUELS is to provide information and encouragement to women in the science field through education, leadership and mentoring. The goal of this organization is to promote both the achievement of women in science and our future successes. FUELS aims to meet as a group every other week to discuss issues facing women in science through panels and special guests. Underclassmen will be paired with upperclassmen mentors and upperclassmen will be paired with faculty members in their field of interest. FUELS also has a community outreach component.

Because of the prestige of our organization and mentorship components, attendance is highly stressed therefore only two unexcused absences will be allowed. We highly encourage you to check your schedule before applying.

Please complete the application and e-mail to FUELS.USC@gmail.com or return to Dr. Parr SGM222 by 5 pm on September 25th, 2009.

Sincerely,
FUELS
