An evening with Dr. Lau: One Trojan's Journey Towards Medicine for the Under-served

Pre-health students:

Trojan Health Volunteers would like to extend an invitation for all pre-health students to attend a special event featuring guest speaker Dr. Christopher Lau, MD and CEO of Northeast Community Clinics. A Sacramento native, Dr. Lau is a USC alumni with a degree in Biology and a medical degree from the UC Irvine College of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Lau is the CEO of NECC, one of Los Angeles' very first free clinics! There are now 11 established clinics in Southern California. All of the Northeast Community Clinic sites are located in medically underserved populations, providing bilingual healthcare services to low-income residents of Los Angeles County since 1971.

You do not want to miss this event! As a physician and a businessman, Dr. Lau has valuable advice both for pre-health students interested in practicing urban medicine in under-served communities as well as for students interested in starting a private practice!

You do NOT have to be a THV student in order to attend! :)

Light dinner will be provided.
